STRANGE SPORTS
Beer Pong
Beer pong, also known as Beirut, is the staple game of US college parties. It can now be considered a sport - it has its own world series! It is a drinking game in which players throw a ping pong ball across a table to try and land the ball in a cup of beer at the other end.
The official site for beer pong start their list of rules with "Rules are made to be broken". That is a sport which does not take itself too seriously. There are many variations of the game, and they are all OK. For the purpose of official competition (such as the World Series of Beer Pong), some standard rules had to be set down. For any game, the rules need to be agreed upon before starting play. Often there are house rules that need to be followed.
Generally, the game is often played with teams of 2-4, with six or ten plastic cups arranged in a triangle at each end. Players throw the ping pong ball, trying to land it in an opponents cup. Once the ball has been sunk in a cup, that cup is then eliminated from the game and the opponent consumes the cup's contents.
The rules used for the World Series includes 2 players per team, 2 balls per game, 2 shots per side (except first toss) and 10 cups per side. Also, players do not have to play with beer - they can choose to play with water at their discretion.
The World Series of Beer Pong VIII was held in Vegas in January 2013, with 160 teams attending. Some take it pretty serious, as you would expect for $50,000 first prize. Some teams opted to fill some of their cups with water and competition organizers only filled four of the ten cups with liquid. The winning team was team called “Drinkin Smokin Straight West Coastin” from California.

THE STORY OF CINDERELLA
Cinderella lived in a small village in the north of England. She had two sisters; they were very ugly. Shegot up every morning at six o'clock, then she made breakfast for her sisters, and afterwards she cleanedthe house. She worked all day. Her two ugly sisters were very lazy; they never did any work because Cinderella did everything. Cinderella was very unhappy.
One day, the postman came to the house. He gave Cinderella's sister an envelope. In the envelope therewere three invitations to a party at the Prince's house. She said to her sisters, "Fantastic! There is a party at the Prince's house. I can wear my new red dress and Esmerelda can wear her new blue dress, but Cinderella can't go because her dress is old and dirty and she hasn't got any shoes."
On Saturday at 8 o'clock, the ugly sisters went to the party. Cinderella sat in the kitchen. She was very sad. There was a ring at the door. Cinderella opened the door. There was a woman. She said, "Hello! I am your Fairy Godmother. Why are you sad?" Cinderella said, "I want to go to the party but I haven't got any beautiful clothes." The Fairy Godmother said, "No problem, here is a new dress and some glass shoes. There is a golden bicycle in the street. Now you can go to the party, but you must return before 12 o'clock." Cinderella said, "Thank you." She put on the glass shoes and the red dress. She looked very pretty. Then she went to the party by bicycle.
The party was very good. At first, Cinderella was very shy but after an hour, the Prince asked Cinderella to dance. They danced for a long time. The Prince said to Cinderella, "I like your dress and you are very pretty." Cinderella was very happy. She forgot what time it was. Suddenly the clock rang. Cinderellasaid, "Oh no! I must go. It is 12 o'clock." She ran home and at the door of the Prince's house, she lost her shoe.
The next day, the Prince was very sad because he was in love with Cinderella but he didn't know where she lived. He went to all the houses in the village and said, "Do you know whose shoe this is?" Finally, hewent to Cinderella's house. Cinderella opened the door. The Prince said, "I love you. Do you want to marry me?" Cinderella said, "Yes." The wedding was the week after. Cinderella and the Prince were never unhappy again.

National Holiday in Mexico
Independence Day
This public holiday is the national day of Mexico and is celebrated on 16 September. Also known as 'Día de la Independencia' or 'Grito de Dolores', it marks the anniversary of the Mexican War of Independence against Spain on 16 September 1810.
History of Mexican Independence Day
Specifically, it commemorates a proclamation by Father Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla on 16 September 1810, in the village of Dolores, near Guanajuato.
Hidalgo's proclamation called for an end to Spanish rule in Mexico, encouraging rebellion and insurrection against the Spanish.
The Spanish Empire, had been broken by Napoleon's invasion of Spain, and imperial rule had been replaced by "juntas" in both Spain and the American colonies, while King Fernando VII was being held hostage by Napoleon.
The Proclamation of Dolores
Hidalgo
ordered that the church bell be rung to gather his congregation, then called
for insurrection and ended by calling out,Viva la Virgen de Guadalupe! Viva Fernando VII! Abajo el mal gobierno! [Long
live Our Lady of Guadalupe! Long live Fernando VII! Down with the bad
government.
There are various accounts of what Hidalgo was reputed to have actually said. While the proclamation has gained national status, in reality, it is unlikely that that Hidalgo disowned the King as he is supposedly said to have done.
Following his speech, Father Hidalgo raised an army and attempted to overthrow the Junta government, but he was eventually defeated. As his struggle against the establishment continued, he began to demand the full independence of all the Spanish American colonies, and the exile or arrest of all Spaniards within Mexico.
It was only after a ten year long War of Independence that Mexico's independence was finally acknowledged by the Spanish viceroy on 27 September 1821 .
How is Mexican Independence Day celebrated?
Since the 1870's, re-enacting the proclamation has become a tradition. Every year, The Mexican President rings Hidalgo's bell (now kept at the National Palace in Mexico City) and repeats Hidalgo's words at 11:00pm on 15 September. On 16 September, a military parade takes place in Mexico City.
In 1825, the Republic of Mexico officially declared 16 September its national Independence Day.

HISTORY OF MOTOCROSS
In 1924, the first known British off-road event known as the Scrambles was held at Camberley in Surrey. This would become the earliest known origin of freestyle motocross as we know it today.
The sport's popularity would increase during the 1930s, particularly in Britain where events involving teams from various districts and companies would be held regularly. Bikes used in those competitions at the time would be barely distinguishable from those used on the streets.
1950s to 1970s
As the competition intensified and the terrain increased in difficulty, the technology used for the design of competition and special-event motorcycles would improve, particularly with the introduction of the swinging arm suspension during the early 1950s.
The international motorcycling governing body held the 500cc displacement formula European Championship in 1952 that was subsequently upgraded to World Championship status in 1957 followed by a 250cc equivalent in 1962 where two-stroke motorcycles began to make their mark in the industry.
Various companies throughout Europe from countries such as Sweden, Czechoslovakia and Britain thrived by creating models that became renowned for their lightness and maneuverability. The introduced improvements in motorcycles during the 1960s would relegate the older and heavier four-stroke machines to smaller, niche events.
In the late 1960s, companies from Japan would rival their European counterparts in the manufacture and production of high-quality motorcycles for motocross enthusiasts. In fact, in 1970, Suzuki would claim the first world championship for its motherland after being victorious in the 250cc event.
1975 would see the introduction of the 125cc world championship and the sport experienced significant growth due in no small part to the increase in popularity of motocross in the United States. While European riders would continue to excel in events held during the 1970s, the Americans would gradually improve before winning international competitions during the 1980s.
1980s to 1990s
It was during the 1980s that rapid technological enhancements in motocross would take place thanks to the innovation of companies from Japan. These included the creation of water-cooled machines as well as the monoshock rear suspension device.
During the 1990s, new laws were introduced to ensure that the production of four-stroke motorcycles would adhere to environmentally conscious standards.
